The 9th edition of the Festival Bachcelona was held last week, a cultural initiative that livened up the city with a variety of activities for the whole family, from concerts to dance sessions or documentaries.

The Festival, organized every year by the Fundación Bachcelona, focuses on popularizing the professional career of the German musician, J.S. Bach. This edition, still affected by the restrictions of the pandemic, stood out for its brilliant organization and the willingness, both by the audience and the artists, to enjoy the German composer’s music.

At eDiversa Group, we are committed to the initiative and sponsor one of the solidary activities of the Festival, the Chamber Bach concert. The event took place last July 6 in the Domènech i Montaner Room of the Modernist venue of Sant Pau, a charming place to enjoy the magnificent Duo Cassadó. Cellist Damián Martínez Marco and pianist Marta Moll de Alba performed, as always, a perfect and impeccable interpretation of the works of the German musician.

The Chamber Bach concert was included in the solidary section of the festival, Solidary Bachcelona, which raised a total of 5,917.50 euros. This money will be given in its entirety to the Foundations Ana Ribot, Obra Mercedària, Plat del Pobre and the Centre Xamfrà.

Initiatives of this type make us very proud of the city we live in and its social structure. It has been an honor to take part in the Festival Bachcelona and we also feel part of the great success of the event. It has been a wonderful experience that we wanted to share with all of you.
